The Canadian musician and singer is returning to Spain as part of his latest European tour, On The Road Again, which will be stopping off at the Movistar Arena on 26 August. In this concert, Shawn Mendes will perform a repertoire that includes hits from his entire musical career, as well as songs from his latest album, Shawn (2024).
Shawn Mendes has gone from being a newcomer to becoming a star singer worldwide. His musical career already boasts five studio albums, in which he has headed three worldwide tours and has received diverse awards, such as Platinum Discs and he has been nominated for a Grammy.
In 2015, he released his first album, Handwritten, which was a big hit in the United States, going to the top of the Billboard 200 chart, as well as the single, Stitches, which went straight in to the Top Ten on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in the United States and Canada. His second album, Illuminate, came in 2016 in which Treat You Better was the promotional single, followed by Ruin. This album also includes the hit single, There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back.
In 2018, he released his third studio album, Shawn Mendes, for which he received his first two Grammy nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album and Song of the Year for In My Blood. The following year, he released the single, Señorita, alongside the singer, Camila Cabello, which broke records and was a hit on global streaming platforms. In 2020, he presented Wonder, an album that went straight to Number One on the Billboard Top 200, becoming one of the three male artists to have four Number One albums by the age of 22.
After his tour heading the line-ups at festivals in Latin America in 2025, the singer and songwriter has announced his European tour, On The Road Again. This is a unique opportunity to see him in Spain with a show that will run through his greatest hits from the past ten years. The songs will range from his very first album to his latest release: Shawn (2024).
