Every year on 13 June, Madrid marks the feast day of San Antonio de la Florida—a much-loved celebration known for its quirky customs and lively atmosphere. From pin-throwing rituals to tasting the traditional pan del santo (saint’s bread), it’s a unique mix of devotion and fun.
The festivities centre around Parque de la Bombilla and the Hermitage of San Antonio, in the Moncloa-Aravaca district, and continue throughout the weekend.
