Following the success of previous editions, the Río Babel Festival will be back on 3, 4 and 5 July 2026 at the Miguel Ríos Auditorium for its ninth edition. Groups and artists like Katy Perry, Bomba Estéreo and La Casa Azul have already confirmed their participation in this heterogeneous Latin American music festival.
The Río Babel Festival is an event that was created to connect national, Latin and international music through a wide variety of artists with new musical proposals, ranging from Latin jazz or folk to Indie or reggae.
Big names from Ibero-American and international music will come together in this latest edition. One of the premises that Río Babel follows is to continue building bridges with Latin America, which is evident through the presence of Latin references.
The stellar line-up for the first day, scheduled for Saturday 5 July, includes three names who perfectly represent the spirit of the event: Katy Perry, Bomba Estéreo and La Casa Azul. The international influence comes with the superstar Katy Perry, who will be performing her only concert in Spain in 2026 in Madrid. The American singer, one of the most influential artists over the past two decades, has sold more than 143 million songs worldwide. From hits such as California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Roar, Firework or Dark Horse to her latest album, 143, which was released in 2024, Perry continues to influence generations with her bright pop, monumental staging and unmistakable message of empowerment.
The Colombian Bomba Estéreo, one of the most influential and innovative Latin American bands in recent years, will be performing. The group led by Li Saumet and Simón Mejía, which combines electronic, cumbia, reggae and pop, has conquered stages worldwide.
National talent will be represented by La Casa Azul, Guille Milkyway's project, which has turned its concerts into authentic joint celebrations. With a career spanning more than two decades, this project is enjoying one of its best moments, which will get the audience dancing in a live show full of colour, emotion and fantasy.
