The world’s largest parade in favour of LGBTQ+ is the main event of the Pride Festivities, the LGTBI Pride Parade. It takes place on the first Saturday in July along the city’s main streets, from Atocha, Paseo del Prado (alongside the Royal Botanical Gardens) to Plaza de Colón, to call for tolerance and equality for the LGBTQ+ community..
The parade is the main event of Madrid Pride and is organised by COGAM (Madrid Association of Lesbians, Gays, Transsexuals and Bisexuals) and FELGTB (National Federation of Lesbians, Gays, Transexuals and Bisexuals).
As on previous occasions, the parade will depart from the Carlos V roundabout and will finish up at Plaza de Colón, where the manifesto will be read.
