OtraDanza - Prometeo

On 14 and 15 March 2026, Centro Danza Matadero - CDM (Nave 11) will host the latest creation by the OtraDanza company, directed by the choreographer and dancer Asun Noales.  It uses the Greek myth of Prometheus to reflect on rebellion, knowledge and the human condition through movement and the stage metaphor.

Through powerful and emotional body language, Prometheus combines contemporary dance, physical theatre and visual composition to create a sensory experience that invites introspection. The piece is characterised by its careful aesthetics, the joint work of the performers and a staging that combines technology, light and sound to create a poetic universe of its own.

OtraDanza, a company founded in 2007 in Alicante by Asun Noales, has established itself as one of the leading groups in Spanish contemporary dance. Its productions have toured national and international stages and have gained recognition for their artistic commitment and ability to equally move and trigger reflection.
