As part of its latest tour of Europe, Escape to Europe, the famous American band led by singer Ryan Tedder and nominated for a Grammy Award, is coming to the Vistalegre Arena Palace on 20 June 2026.
Created in Colorado Springs (United States) in 2002 by the singer Ryan Tedder and the guitarist Zach Filkins, OneRepublic rose to fame thanks to the Myspace social platform. Their musical influences are The Beatles and U2, but the group plays with styles of rock, pop, indie and hip hop, giving them a distinct personality and diverse sound nuances.
In 2007, they released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud, whose title track, Apologize, became an international hit, selling over 16 million copies worldwide and earning them a Grammy nomination. Their second LP was Waking Up in 2009, which included songs like All the Right Moves, Secrets or Good Life. In 2013, they released Native, which entered the charts at Number 4, in the Top Ten of the Billboard 200. In 2016, they released Oh My My, with singles like Wherever I Go and Kids, and it was once more a best-seller and hit with the specialised critics.
In 2021, they released their fifth studio album, Human, which features songs like Rescue Me, Wanted and Didn't I. In February 2022, they released the song West Coast, which forms part of their sixth studio album, Artificial Paradise (2024), their latest to date, which includes hits like RUNAWAY and I Ain’t Worried, which appeared in the hit film Top Gun: Maverick (2022).
