Iron Maiden, one of the world’s biggest heavy metal bands, will be performing for one night only in Spain as part of their new world tour Run For Your Lives, at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium on 5 July 2025. On this tour, the band are celebrating a career spanning 50 years since Steve Harris founded the band in late 1975.
The British line-up of Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Janick Gers and Nicko McBrain has had a long and successful career in which they have sold more than 100 million albums and created a legion of fans around the world. The band was founded in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris, and right from the start, Iron Maiden’s music promised to be legendary. They are known as one of the best live acts on the metal scene.
In a career spanning over 50 years, Iron Maiden has been identified by their famous mascot “Eddie the Head”, who has appeared on the vast majority of their album covers as well as during live performances. Among their numerous awards are the Ivor Novello Award in the International Achievement category in 2002; the Best Live Performance Award at the BRITs in 2009, and in 2011 they won a Grammy for Best Metal Performance for the song El Dorado. And in 2005, they were included in Hollywood's RockWalk on Sunset Boulevard (Los Angeles).
On this new tour, Run For Your Lives, they are commemorating 50 years performing together and to celebrate this milestone, fans of the group will enjoy a very special set list that covers the nine studio albums from Iron Maiden (1980) to Fear Of The Dark (1992). This promises to be their most spectacular and elaborate tour so far.
