Inverfest is the name of the winter concert series that Madrid organises every January, February and March to see in the New Year. Following the success of previous editions (90,000 spectators and 41 sold-out shows), it is back for its twelfth edition with music for all tastes at various venues throughout the city. Confirmed performances include those of Valeria Castro and J Abecia.
Inverfest is the series in which tours and albums are debuted, offering a preview of the music scene for the coming year. For several weeks, leading cabaret, symphonic music, flamenco and rock groups will take to the stage.
The festival's concert programme is spread across several venues and concert halls throughout Madrid, such as the Teatro Circo Price, La Riviera, Movistar Arena and Conde Duque.
January boasts numerous performances starting on 3 January at the Movistar Arena with the Destripando la historia concert by the content creators, Pascu and Rodri. Groups and artists like Ariel Rot (Teatro Eslava. 8 January), Valeria Castro (Movistar Arena. 9 January), Abraham Mateo (Movistar Arena. 11 January), Morgan (La Riviera. 16 January), Luz Casal (Movistar Arena. 17 January), Ismael Serrano (Teatro Circo Price. 17 January), Eladio y Los Seres Queridos (El Sol. 22 January), Bebe (Teatro Circo Price. 23 January), Sexy Zebras (Movistar Arena. 24 January), Violeta (Teatro Circo Price. 25 January), Zenet (Teatro Circo Price. 28 January), María Peláe (Teatro Circo Price. 28 January) or The New Raemon (Sala Villanos. 30 January), among many others round off the programme for January.
In February, performances will kick off on 1 February with La Bien Querida (La Riviera), JJ Machuca (Sala Villanos) and Ángeles Toledano (Teatro Circo Price). The series will continue with concerts by bands and artists like Israel Fernández (Teatro Circo Price. 3 February), Hinds (La Riviera. 5 February), Quique González (Teatro Circo Price. 6 and 7 February), Sara Socas (El Sol. 8 February), Natalia Lacunza (La Riviera. 12 February), 091 (La Riviera. 14 February), and Raúl Querido + Pálida Tez (El Sol. 15 February), among others.
In March, the project led by Iñaki Uoho and Jaime Moreno Uoho can be heard live at the Sala But on 6 March. Sala El Sol will host a concert by the quintet from San Sebastian, NØGEN and the band from San Sebastian, SÜNE on 14 March.
