The third edition of the World Padel Team Championship will be coming to Madrid from 28 January to 1 February 2026, with matches played at Caja Mágica. This five-day competition will bring together elite padel tennis players and up-and-coming young players. A total of eight teams will battle it out for the chance to lift the trophy at the new home of world padel.
At this edition, the championship will make its début at Caja Mágica, a new venue for an event that will once again bring together all the global superstars of padel tennis. The KRÜ Padel by Taktika team, captained by Kun Agüero and Gabriel Pérez Krieb, will be setting out to defend the title won in the last edition. It won't be easy for them as seven teams will try to snatch the crown, including AdVantage Padel Team, the 2024 champion, and the Rafa Nadal Academy, the runner-up in the previous two editions.
The team from the Rafa Nadal Academy, with Pablo Cardona and Franco Stupaczuk, will open the competition against Eleven Eleven, with Javi Garrido and Tino Libaak. On that same day, the defending champions, Krü Padel by Taktika, will launch their quest to defend their title with Fede Chingotto and Momo González, against Mike Yanguas and Javi Leal from X Padel. Delfina Brea and Martina Calvo will play together on the ADvantage Padel Team, one of the most interesting pairs, and they will face Alejandra Salazar and Carmen Goenaga from the Hexagon Team this Wednesday.
From Wednesday to Saturday, the Hexagon Cup offers eight matches a day: three in the men's category, three in the women's category, and two in the Next Gen division. The men's and women's matches will take place at the Central Stadium of Caja Mágica, while the Next Gen matches will be held in Stadium 3.
On Saturday, the top-seeded men’s player, Arturo Coello, will team up with Coki Nieto from Team Bella Puerto Rico to close out the regular phase. This will be before the grand finale on Sunday, where the finals for the title and the third and fourth place will take place. Both finals will be decided in the best of three matches to determine the tournament champion. Each men's and women's regular phase match awards two points to the winner, and one point for Next Gen Category matches.
