FIPP World Media Congress 2025

In 2025, the city of Madrid will host the 47th edition of the FIPP World Media Congress, the leading international congress for magazine publishers. This event, which will be held from 21 to 23 October at the Fine Arts Circle, is a unique opportunity for publishers, journalists, creators, technology firms and the sector’s other suppliers to come together in one place to share experiences and network.

Madrid will take over from other cities, such as London, New York, Toronto or New Delhi, which have already hosted this congress, which was first held in 1925. In recent years, the city has stood out for its great cultural scene and its growing influence in the world of publishing, positioning itself as the global epicentre of the publishing industry.

The FIPP World Media Congress will provide an opportunity to learn about today’s emerging trends and the challenges facing the publishing sector. Speakers will analyse a range of issues, among which artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability, business model diversification and success stories stand out.

The 2024 edition was successfully held in Cascais (Portugal) in June, bringing together more than 450 professionals from over 40 countries to discuss opportunities and challenges facing the media sector.
