Bienal Flamenco Madrid 2027

This new cultural initiative is set to become a biannual celebration of flamenco, transforming the city into a vibrant stage over the course of two weeks. Following its 2025 inaugural edition, held from 23 May to 6 June, it will return in 2027 (dates to be confirmed), once again bringing together some of the most outstanding flamenco artists in venues across the city—with the Conde Duque Centre for Contemporary Culture as its central hub.

Organised by Madrid City Council’s Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, the first Bienal Flamenco Madrid drew 27,500 attendees to 32 artistic events, achieving an average occupancy rate of 91% and selling out 19 performances. The programme demonstrated a strong commitment to female talent, with nearly half of the scheduled shows led by women.
