32nd Lied Concert Series - Benjamin Bernheim

Benjamin Bernheim, considered to be one of the leading tenors of his generation will be making his debut in the Lied Concert Series organised by the National Centre for Musical Diffusion (CNDM) and the Teatro de la Zarzuela, accompanied by the pianist, Carrie-Ann Matheson. This recital will be held on 26 January 2026 at the Teatro de la Zarzuela.

Recognised as one of the most elegant and versatile voices on today’s lyrical scene, Bernheim will feature in a recital that explores the European romantic and post-romantic repertoire, with pieces by composers like Schumann, Fauré or Duparc.

The French lyrical tenor, acclaimed for his lyrical timbre and refined interpretation, has performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages, including the Paris Opera, La Scala in Milan and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. His style combines great musical sensitivity with a refined technique that enables him to tackle both the French and German repertoires with the same brilliance.
