This 1999 bronze statue by the sculptor, Salvador Fernández Oliva, leaning on the railing that surrounds the remains of the ruins of the Almudena Church stands at the junction between Calle Mayor and Calle Almudena.
The figure portrays an elderly man observing the remains of the aforementioned church, leaning on the structure that protects the ruins. The statue is secured directly to the pavement, without a pedestal.
