Cubos Madrid

One of the most iconic places in central Madrid, Plaza de los Cubos and its legendary underground passage have been chosen as the site for this artistic transformation project. Here, major international artists, linked in one way or another to the city, have created a series of murals conveying their experiences and vision of Madrid.

Merlin Properties, owner of the retail units and office spaces in Plaza de los Cubos, is managing this artistic project and has chosen Madrid Street Art Project to curate the artistic intervention of the area.

The space features 15 permanent murals created by 15 artists (Suso33, Taquen, Creto, Ramón Amorós, Juay, spok, Marta Lapeña, Sabek, Rosh, duo Amazonas, UNEG, Diego Vicente, TAV (Tape Art Valencia), Dante Arcade and Teje la Araña), as well as a rotating wall that will change every three months following a public tender. The wall will help give visibility to emerging artists and will allow visitors to admire four extra murals throughout the year.
