Desperate Literature

Close to Plaza de Santo Domingo between Opera and Callao you will find this second-hand bookstore specialized in international literature that has a large selection of books in English and other foreign languages.

Although most of their books are fiction, poetry, crime novels and science fiction you can also find history books, books on philosophy, art, science, sociology, film, music and Eastern religions. They also have a section of children’s books and books for young adults.

Wanting to promote culture, they organize exhibitions, lectures, meeting and all kinds of cultural events.
