Chefs Carlos Griffo and Miguel García, both with extensive experience in outstanding restaurants such as La Bien Aparecida, Bibo, Casa Marcial and Streetxo, launched this restaurant in 2019 near Plaza de Castilla. Since the middle of 2025, the restaurant has entered a new phase in which it has moved towards more elevated gastronomy, changing from an eatery to a contemporary bistro, but with a very clear base: traditional and market cuisine.
The refurbished Quinqué boasts an open kitchen and offers an elegant and refined setting, which does not detract from Griffo's cuisine. Comfortable and with seating for up to 30 diners, it is decorated in sand and pastel tones, with soft lighting. There is a small lamp on each table.
At Quinqué, each dish is prepared with carefully selected products from local markets and suppliers, resulting in a flexible and dynamic menu that changes each day. It also offers suggestions of the day and a tasting menu made up of 11 courses. The wine list is short but well selected, including all the main Spanish wines.
