A new branch of Freedom Cakes can be found in the centre of Madrid, located very close to its already popular Freedom Cakes Diner, next to the Puerta del Sol, where you can enjoy a wide range of vegan cuisine from breakfast until dawn, as well as cocktails and smoothies.
The menu at the new restaurant maintains its wide range of desserts and home-made cakes, along with savoury dishes including Italian focaccias, slices of pizza, sandwiches and Argentine empanadas. There are also set daily menus at a good price.
The decor maintains the brand’s trademark psychedelic combination of hot pink and yellow. Inside it has low and high tables, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or taking your time. And in the evenings, it turns into a nightclub where you can enjoy a drink and perhaps try one of its cocktails.
The New Freedom has two entrances, one at No. 3 Calle Barcelona, and the other on Calle Espoz y Mina, and both have a large terrace area.
