Information

With its traditional appearance and set in one of Madrid's most authentic neighbourhoods, La Gran Tasca has been serving its famous cocido madrileño since 1942. The dish is made to the highest standards and can also be ordered to take away, a very popular service in view of its success. Apart from cocido, the menu also includes many other dishes: a wide range of starters, soups, cold cuts, anchovy, croquettes, egg dishes, salads, meat and fish. Also recommended are the restaurant's tripe a la madrileña, steak tartare, hake in cuttlefish sauce, and lobster and rice broth.
