Founded in 1923 by José Rothfritz Binz, this restaurant specialised in German cuisine. In 2015, it closed down for a while but now, thanks to the Andilana Group, it is a Germanic classic in the centre of Madrid that has managed to survive the passing of the years to become a reference in the 21st century.
Located behind the Congress of Deputies, Edelweiss reinterprets typical dishes from German cuisine, such as ham hock or grilled sausages prepared with the finest ingredients. It also includes an all-day cocktail service with all kinds of classic and non-alcoholic cocktails, wines or craft beers, among others.
It has a lunch menu on working days from Monday to Friday, as well as an evening and weekend menu.
