The brothers Daniel and Guillermo Pozuelo launched this restaurant serving signature cuisine that began its journey in the Barceló Market and, after the success achieved, moved to its current premises, next to Calle Ponzano, a street that’s a haven for foodies in the Chamberí district. The restaurant offers good value for money and is included in the list of Bib Gourmand restaurants compiled by the prestigious Michelin Guide.
This small restaurant, which can accommodate 23 people, has a few low tables, a bar that overlooks the open kitchen, and an area with a little more privacy, allowing them to offer a more personalised service, the hallmark of their gastronomic proposal, which is also characterised by its rejection of the culinary rulebook.
Bichopalo has no a la carte menu but instead serves a tasting menu prepared by chef Daniel, who previously cooked at Arzak, DStage, Alboroque and the Casino de Madrid. The tasting menu has nine amazing dishes, which vary according to the season and the produce available, featuring Mediterranean, Asian and South American flavours.
The wine list includes rare wines to pair with each dish on the menu and create an unforgettable 360º experience.
